Technical Product Manager

Bicycle innovations and textiles (32-40 hours)

What will I enjoy in this role? 

• You get energy from developing new products and improving existing products in terms of technology, functionality, and design;
• You independently "source" new suppliers and balance the resulting national and international relationships, considering quality, supply chain optimization, purchasing, etc.;
• You enjoy being part of a close-knit team in which you are an essential link and like to be perceived as such. In short, you matter.

 You are expected to act upon these freedoms in your role enthusiastically, solicited, and, after a while, unsolicited. In other words, a fabulous challenge! 

What sort of team will I be working in?

You will work in a small, close-knit, empowering team within a financially healthy company. Development and innovation are crucial concepts within Basil. Hence, it is essential that you are open and enthusiastic about this. We are in full swing structuring the processes, which implies there may be settings that need to change quickly. Your daily experience will therefore be dynamic, where you creatively and enterprisingly add value to the company.

Your ability to develop and your passion for bicycle innovation is decisive for us.

You have:

• An affinity for working with partners in the Far East
• A positive critical, and embracing attitude! The acclaimed "Can do!" mentality;
• A personality that people are happy to approach, both in-house and outsiders;
• basic knowledge or affinity with bicycle innovation; 
• knowledge of textiles is a must.

We expect a working and thinking level at an intermediate or higher vocational education level. To work efficiently, proficiency in speaking, writing, and understanding English is required.
